Our street food tour begins at the bustling Kadikoy Market in the pedestrianized zone of Istanbul’s Asian side. As you stroll through the foodie haven, your taste buds will be awakened by the vast array of fresh seasonal produce that is on display in shops and on stalls.
Sample a selection of delicious local specialties as you soak up the atmosphere of Istanbul’s lively street food scene. The pide (lamb topped Turkish pizza), simit (bagel-like bread), kebabs, stuffed vine leaves and olives are to die for.
Walk along Galata Bridge, where the local fishermen have been pulling in the catch of the day for generations. Visit the famous pastry shop Karakoy Gulluoglu, in the Beyoglu district to discover the best baklava in Istanbul.
