GALLIPOLI
The unique landscape of the peninsula of Gallipoli stretches between the Aegean Sea and the Dardanelles Straits. It’s a location that is synonymous with the conflict, bravery and sacrifices of WWI. This hallowed ground is a special poignant place of pilgrimage for visitors from all over the world.
This moving and reflective tour visits the Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park. We explore the ANZAC Cove, where the Australia and New Zealand Forces made their landing. Cemeteries and memorials to the fallen now mark this commemorative landmark.
At the Lone Pine Cemetery, the largest cemetery in the National Park remains of trenches are still visible. The famous battlefield of 1915 commands breathtaking views in all directions.
We also visit the Beach Cemetery, Hell Spit, Brighton Beach, Shrapnel Valley, Chungb Blair Cemetery, Quinn’s Post, and other memorials and serene sites.

A MOMENT OF REFLECTION
For visitors from all over the world, Gallipoli is a special place of pilgrimage. In April, thousands of people attend the ANZAC Day service every year.
Gallipolli is quite busy all throughout the year. People come here to commemorate the famous battles of The Great War and to remember the fallen heroes. Please pay your own respects and consider that some visitors may be visiting grandfathers and great-grandfathers they never had the chance to meet.
