WALKING TOUR IN THE MEDIEVAL CITY OF RHODES
Rhodes is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and has a fascinating story to tell. On our walking tour, you will discover the home of the iconic Knights of St. John, and immerse yourself in authentic everyday life.
As you stroll along the Street of Knights, where the seven lodges of the Order once resided, two centuries of history will come alive. Built on the ruins of a 7th-century citadel, in the 14th century, the lavish and Gothic Grand Master’s Palace is without a doubt the most important historic attraction of the Old Town.
A wander around the local neighbourhood of Bourgo will lead you to the divine Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent, erected in 1808. You will also have the opportunity to discover the Turkish Baths, the Hospital of the Knights, and the Church of Our Lady of the Castle and immerse yourself in the history of Rhodes.

At the end of our walking tour, you have free time to explore Rhodes Old Town. Here you will find many shops and cafes to enjoy, and if you’re looking for something unique, head for arsenal stores in Polidorou Street and mingle with the local craftsmen.
You can also buy authentically Greek preserves and ingredients to take home with you. The taste and smell will always magically transport you back to Rhodes whenever you use them.
