COUNTRYSIDE TOUR WITH CHORA AND THE GROTTO OF APOCALYPSE
Our scenic excursion begins with a drive through the historic 16th-century settlement of Skala, which was once the most important commercial port in the Mediterranean. Its vibrant modern marina, clustered with cafes, bars, tavernas, restaurants along a beautiful sandy beach, provides a stunning panoramic visual contrast.
We visit the Grotto of the Apocalypse, where St John the Evangelist heard the voice of God and was blessed with visions that would later be transcribed as the Book of Revelations. Take a moment to soak up the calming spiritual ambience to feel truly connected to Patmos.
From the centuries-old community of Chora, you can enjoy spectacular sprawling views that stretch from the Grotto pilgrimage site, to Skala, and the northeastern side of the island.

As we continue our drive, relax and admire the unique and intricate rocky and volcanic landscape of the magnificent countryside.
